Large Hammer Block: The Large Leather-Covered Hammer Block is a Nantucket Basket weaving tool used to hammer escutcheon pins into the basket rim. Solid hardwood block measures 11" x  2" with a vinyl covering to protect your basket from damage. Perfect for large baskets. HH Perkin's vinyl-covered Hammer Blocks attach easily to your table with a C-clamp. Hammer Block hangs off the table so you can hammer without the fear of damaging furniture. C-Clamp sold separately. 

Small Hammer Block: The Small Leather-Covered Hammer Block is 11" x 1-1/2". Perfect for small baskets and Nantucket Jewelry. Attach the block to a hard surface with a C-Clamp. The vinyl will protect your Nantucket or Reed Basket from damage or scratching. Use a ballpeen hammer to tap the escutcheon pins into the rim. Referred to as the pounding stick. HH Perkins Hammer Blocks are custom-made in Connecticut. C-Clamp not included.
